Profile

I hold a PhD in English from the University of Leeds. My PhD thesis, ‘Modernist Nostos in The Waste Land and Four Quartets’, examined T. S. Eliot’s reimagining of home and homecoming through a creative engagement with the classical trope of nostos (‘homecoming’). Recognised for Research Excellence, I passed my viva with no corrections. After completing my PhD, I joined the Leeds Arts and Humanities Research Institute (LAHRI) as Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Alongside my LAHRI fellowship, I undertook teaching and research across departments including the School of English, the Language Centre, the Centre for Endangered Languages, Cultures and Ecosystems (CELCE), and the School of Geography.
